Mixergy internal and external signage case study in Witney, Oxfordshire, from exhibition stand to permanent installation

Mixergy worked with Motive Graphics to deliver internal and external signage across their new multi-building office complex in Witney, Oxfordshire, including adapting their existing exhibition stand signage for permanent outdoor use. The project drew on an established working relationship with the Mixergy brand, covering illuminated meeting room lettering, frosted window graphics designed in-house, and digitally printed ACM signs on standoffs throughout.

A familiar brand, a new space

Having delivered Mixergy’s exhibition stands for several years, we understood their brand inside out, including how seriously they take sustainability and reuse. When they moved into new office space in Witney, Oxfordshire, they came to us to bring it to life in a permanent space.

Making the most of what they had

Mixergy are a sustainability-focused brand, so when it came to the external signage, reusing their exhibition stand signage from elementalLONDON 2025 was an easy decision. The sign had already been paid for and the team were keen to put it to use.

The challenge was that the original sign wasn’t built for external use. The LED wiring and transformer needed to be properly housed and concealed, and the sign needed to be fully weatherproof for a permanent outdoor installation. We built a new tray, refitted the letters onto it, and concealed the transformer and cabling within. The result kept the look they wanted, white face-illuminated letters on a purple background, while making the sign weatherproof and visible from the outside.

Getting the interior right

In the meeting room, we installed white push-through acrylic letters with illumination, set into a purple tray that also gives off a halo glow. The power supply was directly below the sign, so we trunked the cabling out of sight behind a cupboard rather than running it through the walls.

Frosted window graphics were designed and installed throughout the interior to add privacy and visual interest. Having worked with Mixergy’s brand assets for years, we were able to design these ourselves without lengthy back and forth on approvals.

Aluminium composite (ACM) digitally printed signs were fitted across the different barns on their complex on standoffs, which gave a premium finish and kept everything level on the uneven feather edge surfaces, giving the whole site a consistent, fully branded feel inside and out.
